The folk festival will take place on 4 festival sites in the city of Zurich and 7 open stages with performances by various customs groups. The large folk dance and children’s festival will be presented on Sechseläutenplatz and the folkdance gala with ball will be held in the Kongresshaus. Look forward to innovative dance performances. St. Peter’s Church will be the center of the choral performances in all national languages. A cantonal village, a traditional market and a stage for participation await you on the festival site Bürkliplatz. Top formations such as the «Swiss Armed Forces Big Band» and «Oeschs die Dritten» are also part of the program. The traditional costume exhibition on the Lindenhof site and a traditional costume trail across the city of Zurich will allow for a closer look at the incredible variety of Swiss traditional costumes. The festival parade on Sunday will be the crowning finale of the festival.

From 28- 30 June 2024, the Swiss National Costume Festival will be held in Zurich. At this top folk cultural event, people in traditional costume, singers, dancers, brass and yodel formations, alphorn players, flag wavers and folk music groups from all parts of the country are expected.
All visitors are cordially invited to spend three days in the city of Zurich through active participation and by experiencing an unforgettable folk festival.
